Tangier: 1914 (Jun 10) Mourning OHMS post office long envelope sent registered from Tangier to France, reverse with three wax seals of the Tangier British Post Office, one with a superb strike, with three 15c on 1/2d pale purple and green tied by Tangier registered oval ds, paying the 25c letter rate for a 20g letter to Europe plus registration fee, reverse with Gibraltar, Liverpool and Paris arrival bs, incl. original contents (a receipt for the order of stamps), fine and very attractive, ex Kiddle and Stotter (illustrated in Stotter’s “The British Postal Service in Morocco 1907-57” p.21).
