1890s-1910s, Attractive collection of QV & KEVII postal history with postal stationery and registered envelopes, a range of cancels incl. 1s11d franking to England (1d, 2dx8 & 6d), Winnebah and Sekondi on QV reg’d envelopes to England, Quittah “B27” on local reg’d env., Accra rectangular framed cancel on reg’d env. to Austria, attractive size H2 reg. env. from Elmina with 7-stamp franking (minor abrasions), “TOO LATE” hs on env. sent reg’d from Dix Cove with 10x 1/2d & 1d key-types (ex “Ashanti”), Dunkwa crown circle on KEVII 1d to British Columbia, postal stationery cards with cancels of Abokobi, Aburi, Accra boxed, Ada, Akropong, Akuse, Kumasi, Kwitta, Obuasi, OdumasieQuittah, Saltpond (diff. types), Sekondi (different types incl. crown inside), Tarkawa, Victoriaborg, one written from Pram Prama and one cancelled by German “DEUTSCHE SEEPOST / HAMBURG / WESTAFRIKA” on reply double-card, range of unused and SPECIMEN registered envelopes with sizes up to H2 of both QV & KEVII, a great lot which would make very useful foundation for an exhibit collection.
