Lot 40659 – 1891-1901, group of 8 covers with mostly Jubilee frankings

1891-1901, group of 8 covers with mostly Jubilee frankings incl. two 1893 40pa on 1/2d provisionals on 40pa envelope sent registered from Stamboul to England (roughly opened at top with missing backflap, cert. BPA 1958), 1894 40pa env. uprated with 1887-96 40pa on 2 1/2d sent registered from Beyrout to Argentina, and same franking sent to Australia plus normal 40pa env. from the same correspondence (both ex Dr Huggins), 40pa on 2 1/2d tied by tall barred “C” oval to England (ex Adrian Almond), 80pa on 5d sent registered from Salonica to England (Zoessenheim correspondence), and GB 1/2d vermilion pair on ppc to Germany, a useful mix.
