1869 (Jul 9) wrapper sent to England with 1858-69 2d blue pl.12 and 1867-73 1s pl.4 tied by “C” barred oval with blue Constantinople despatch bs, endorsed “Via Varna & Vienna” and paying the 1s2d rate for this “quick route”, vertical crease and toning affecting the 2d, a most elusive example of this rate and route, ex Richard Malim.
