Guadeloupe: 1867 (Feb 25) wrapper to the USA, with British double arc despatch on reverse and “PAID / AT / GUADELOUPE” crown circle hs on obverse, with French Colonies 40c Eagle (2 margins, vertical filing fold affecting stamp) and next day French Guadeloupe cds, rated “4”, with St. Thomas transit bs and NY Steamship US entry, attractive and scarce (S.G. £2’250).
