1840, 1d black covers, an accumulation of 18 on pages, mostly four margin plated examples, noted OB to Jermyn St with ‘TP Old Broad St”, pl.8 to Captain Romelil at Stangate Creek, Medway, pl.1b with “Too Late”, pl.2 to Broseley, Shropshire, pl.3 to Dunfermline, pl.7 from Manchester to Wigan and pl.10 Chelmsford to Saffron Walden (scarce). Generally of mixed condition but a useful group.
