1840 (May 8) 1d Mulready lettersheet, stereo A24, sent from London to Dursley, cancelled by a fine red Maltese Cross, with clear MY 8 1840 Lombard Street despatch ds on the reverse , heavy vertical filing crease, some soiling and stains, otherwise fine and scarce early third day May date use of a Mulready (S.G. from £2’200).
