1843, 90r black, late impression, large margins, showing the “cracked plate” – “chapa quebrada” variety consisting in colourless area below the “9” at left within the ‘eye’, where a black flaw is located with traces of the printing ink extending to the left margin, and the frame line being broken in two places at left, cancelled by framed “PARANAGUÁ.” hs in black (Ayres 1384). The lower margin has been repaired as a result of a portion of paper missing in the area at right, still though and exceedingly scarce variety; no examples of this rarity were found in the Luis Alemany Indarte and Hugo Goeggel collections.
