1905 (Aug 5) envelope from the Prisoner of War Information Office in Tokyo, sent to France with despatch cds, with Japanese “CENSORSHIP PASSED / P.O.W. INFORMATION OFFICE” oval cachet, violet “SERVICE / DES / PRISONNIERS DE GUERRE” hs, very rare destination rather than being sent to Russia or in Japan.
