German States: 1850-1920, substantial collection of the Old German States in a stockbook with a number of better values and interesting postmarks. Baden includes a used 18 Kr, and some coloured cancels, Bavaria is present with a large number of Kreuzer issues mint and used, Prussia shows some interesting cancels and multiples, Sachsen includes a nice section of imperforate 3Pf green used and mint, several imperforate 5 Ngr and 10 Ngr, Württemberg shows a number of better Kreuzer stamps including the 70kr and a used 18kr of the second issue. As usual for these collections the quality is mixed. In total much more than 2000 stamps were collected in order to show the large variety of shades and postmarks of the classic issues. Very high catalogue value.
