Lot 10474 – Seven items of stamped mail

Chile: Small group of items including 1866 front from Caldera to Bremen franked 4d., 6d. and three 1/- with C37 handstamps, 1871 mourning envelope to France with two 4d. tied blue Caldera C37 handstamps and cds alongside, 1875 damaged Chemists advertising underprint envelope to France with 4d. and 1/- tied C30 duplex of Valparaiso, 1871 single franking 1/- entire to New York, 1878 envelope to Scotland franked pair 6d grey (name excised) and 1876 cover to Alloa with vertical pair, also with a 1880 ‘Freight Report’ printed matter rate front to Liverpool franked at 1d rate; some slight faults (7).
