Uniform Penny Post. 1843 (Aug 30) large part wrapper from Waltham Cross to Royston bearing a fine strike of the “Paid 4” handstamp (Willcocks & Jay HE566) with black Royston arrival at left, the large part wrapper neatly folded down to display, some internal hinge reinforcement, one of only five recorded examples; ex Peter Chadwick.
