1811–1865 Classic Collection – Stampless Covers & Early Imperforates: An attractively presented and knowledgeably written-up collection, neatly mounted on 31 album pages. The earlier section features a range of stampless covers (1811–1850), displaying a fine array of red and black town and rate markings. The latter section includes the classic imperforate issues of 1851–1865, with a pleasing selection of mint and mint never hinged singles, multiples, and covers. Condition is mixed to very fine throughout. A scarce and engaging collection, offering an excellent basis for further expansion and development by the specialist collector; ex Stewart Gardiner.
