Description

1858, 20 kop on thin paper (with watermark “2” a bit shifted to the right), very fine (lifted from the cover to check the watermark and hinged back), tied by oval numeral on fresh cover from Odessa 19 sept 1858 (boxed d.s on reverse) send to St Petersburg. A rare stamp on cover in particular used in Ukraine. We only record another Odessa usage of this stamp see Fabergé lot 191. Certificate Pascal Scheller (2014).
