1854 (Sep 8) envelope posted during the Crimean War and sent from Kiel to France, franked with French Empire 20c blue imperf. (Y&T 14) and cancelled by “121” of Kiel (Schleswig Holstein, Denmark) with matching datestamp adjacent, sent by a soldier of the Baltic Squadron who franked it with a French stamp and routed via the port of Kiel, reverse arrival in Badonviller (Meurthe) of September 11 1854, unique usage of a French stamp in Kiel during the Crimean War; signed Calves and Carl H. Lange; cert. Pascal Scheller (2026).
1854, Lettre postée durant la guerre de Crimée à destination de la France, affranchissement Empire non dentelé 20 centimes bleu Y&T n°14, oblitération chiffre 121 de Kiel (Schleswig Holstein, Danemark – Denmark) avec à côté cachet à date associé du 8 septembre, cette lettre provient d’un militaire de l’Escadre de la Baltique qui l’a affranchi en timbre français, acheminement via le port de Kiel, au verso cachet à date d’arrivée à Badonviller (Meurthe) du 11 septembre 1854, signé Calves et Carl H. Lange, une pièce mythique aussi bien pour le collectionneur de la poste aux armées françaises et du Schleswig Holstein.
