Lot 30184 – 1887, Prince Ferdinand Essay 19 different with a group
1887, Prince Ferdinand Essay 19 different with a group of 12 different colours, one in red on carton paper and finally 6 with trial perforation and hinged but with gum. To our current knowledge the perfoarted are unique. He was prince in 1887 and later Zar of Bulgaria but got recognition of the european powers and Ottoman Empire only in 1896, so the stamp finally was not printed. Interesting ensemble of philatelic history. A scarce group.
