Mexico – Specialised philatelic literature, comprising: Corbett, Imperial Eagles of Maximilian’s Mexico (1993), signed and numbered example (No. 126/300), one of the most sought-after works in Mexican philately; Schatzkès, The Cancellations of Mexico 1856–1874 (1964), Crawford Medal award-winning handbook, limited edition of 265 copies (No. 34); Chapman, The Postage Stamps of Mexico 1856–1868 (1976 reprint); Fayolle & Smeth (1935) and Fayolle (1936), classic studies of the first issues and forgeries; and Phillips (1917), early standard reference. Corbett with small break (c. 1 cm) and minor bumps at foot of spine; otherwise in good to very good condition. A useful and coherent reference group for the collector and exhibitor.
