Stampless wrapper with red PASPEBIAC L.C. circular datestamp, dated 28 Jan 1854 (manuscript), bearing red PAID and manuscript rate 2/8 1/2s.cy. Carried overland via Carleton (26 Jan), Campbellton (26 Jan), Chatham, Bend of Petitcodiac, Sackville (31 Jan), Halifax (3 Feb), then by Cunard “Niagara” to Liverpool, with red London Paid, onward to Paris and finally Granville. Struck with red French PD in oval.
