Stampless envelope bearing red ST. CATHERINES U.C., 21 SEP 1857 circular datestamp, the “21” day confirmed in red manuscript, together with straight-line “CANADA PAID 10 Cts.” handstamp of St. Catherines, addressed to Auburn, New York. Portion of backflap missing otherwise fine and fresh.
