Two singles of 3d deep red on medium wove paper, with good to large margins (small corner crease on one), tied by concentric circles on envelope from Kingston U.C., 27 Feb 1856, additionally struck with red curved & framed “CANADA” to New York.

A fine example of mid-19th century Canadian postage used on correspondence to the United States, showing clear numeral cancellations and framed Canadian marking.
