1855 Cover – Amherstburg to Delaware, Ohio
Envelope bearing AMHERSTBURG U.C., JUN 2 1855 circular datestamp in blue, prepaid with blue “PAID 6D” in circle and oval “CANADA 10 CENTS”, sent via Windsor to Delaware, Ohio. Cover some soiling.
A fine example of prepaid Canadian correspondence to the United States, showing clear use of Canadian postage markings.
