3d brown-red, bottom sheet marginal, on thin wove paper, with fine to huge margins, tied by concentric circles on entire from MONTREAL, MY 20 1854 circular datestamp, with red “MONEYLETTER” handstamp struck twice, addressed to Sherbrooke. Very fine.
A rare and important money letter usage combining early Pence postage with official money letter markings.
