3d red perforated, tied by blue “2” numeral on cover with blue BELLEVILLE JU 30 59 U.C. interrupted circular datestamp, addressed to Napanee with JY 1 arrival backstamp.
A significant usage representing the last day of the non-decimal currency system (6d rate) prior to the introduction of decimal currency on 1 July 1859.
