Numeral “21” : 1852–57 3d Deep Brown-Red on Medium Wove Cover
1852–57 3d deep brown-red on medium wove paper, tied by numeral “21”, with good to very large margins showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at top, on cover from Montreal, 22 January 1858, to St. Thomas with arrival backstamp.
A fine example of early Canadian domestic usage with clear numeral cancellation and strong sheet margins.
