MUTE CANCEL: 1852–57 3d Brown-Red on Medium Wove Cover
1852–57 3d brown-red on medium wove paper, fine to very good margins, tied by segmented cork cancellation on envelope from Hamilton, 17 November 1856, to St. Thomas with arrival backstamp.
A fine and rare domestic usage illustrating early Canadian cancellation practices.
