3d brown-red on handmade wove paper, bottom sheet marginal vertical pair with good to huge margins, cancelled by concentric circles on wrapper from Montreal L.C. DE 19 1855 circular datestamp, addressed to Kingston.

An attractive double-rate internal letter, showing careful usage of the 3d stamp for prepaying postage.
