“Bloemfontein Post” complete newspaper dated May 28 1900 with British “Proclamation to the Burghers of the Orange Free State”, sent to England with V.R.I. 1/2d and 1d (stop missing after V)tied by slightly indistinct “BE” barred ovals, containing a two-column article on the Battle of Mafeking and the lifting of the Siege on May 17 as well as Baden-Powell’s speech to the troops at the parade the following day, most unusual.
