Lot 11602 – South Africa Boer War postal history

1900-01, Boer War album with 56 covers relating to the War including cover posted during the Siege of Ladysmith to India, incoming covers from infamous W. R. Bray asking about the occupation of Utrecht and the bombardment of the Lady Grey PO, soldier’s / fieldpost mail (franked an unfranked incl. one from Boer soldier) to different destinations, many censored with various tapes and handstamps, several covers sent to and from Prisoners of War incl. cover from a POW in Diyatalawa to concentration camp addressed “The Officer in charge of Boer Family Camp, Kroonstad”, large circular “CHRISTIANA” ds on cover to Canada, a good group.
