1940s-50, King George VI postal history collection of rates starting with printed matter rates to overseas including uprated registered stationery to Switzerland, the rate increasing from 1950 to 1 1/2pi and further rises thereafter, Foreign postcard rates with 1950 Nicosia to Ecuador at 2pi, Foreign surface mail at 2 1/2pi rates with double and quadruple rates, much censored mail throughout, both local, in transit and on arrival, unusual destinations including Belgian Congo, China, Iceland, Iran and Lebanon with postage dues on arrival; a fine lot of this ever popular period (94).
