1858 (Jul 25) Envelope from Demerara to England, franked by GB 6d lilac wing margin example (a little toned) paying the single rate, tied by slightly indistinct “A03” numeral oval of Demerara, with matching despatch cds on reverse along with Sunderland arrival cds, carried by RMS Medway to Barbados (28th July), then Barbados to St. Thomas (1st August), and by RMS Parana to Southampton (16th August), a scarce usage.
