1892 £1 SPERATI forgeries, a spectacular group of 35 production incl. 5 glass clichés, 2 on film paper and 28 proofs on paper (42 stamps) with notes and different shades, black and in colour, showing the process on how long Sperati worked on single stamps until they reached the perfection of his work. This lot comes with an original Sperati box “Plaques specialement”.
