1911 Unprinted “umbrella” watermarked paper (Type 8a), with two blocks of 48, one with watermark inverted, with “PERKINS; BACON & CO. LTD. / PROOF / SOUTHWARD BRIDGE ROAD” cachets, folded, corner tear. A rare surviving unprinted paper on which the stamps were printed, exhibition showpiece!
