Collection: 1884–1901 Rectangular Issues extensive and highly specialized collection of the Rectangular issues of Bhopal (1884–1901), comprising 12 complete sheets and several hundred stamps, with strong emphasis on early printings, including numerous spelling errors, retouches, and plate varieties.

The collection includes both original printings and reprints, as well as retouched stones, offering exceptional depth for the advanced student of this intricate field. Assemblies of this scale and specialization are rarely encountered, presenting an outstanding opportunity for research and expansion.

Highlights include:

1899 ½ anna black (SG 66a–h), “NWAB” error, Type 15 redrawn, complete sheet of 32 (4 × 8), displaying multiple listed errors. A fresh and visually striking sheet, rare in this format.

1886 ¼ anna blue-green, complete unused perforated sheet of 32, showing a range of errors including “NAWA” (R6/3–4), “NWAB” (R1/1), “NWABA” (R7/4), “NAWAA” (R6/2), and “NAWABA…BEGAAM” (R7/3). A fascinating and scarce sheet with strong study value.

1891 ½ anna red, “NWAB” type, complete unused sheet of 32, including the error “SAH” (R2/4). A scarce and desirable multiple.

Condition mixed, as to be expected with large sheet holdings, but overall fine to very fine.
