1948 Gandhi set 11/2a brown, 31/2a violet, 12a grey green and 10r purple brown and lake the complete set commercial used on airmail from Secretariat, New Delhi to Boxbury, Mass. USA. Cancels clearly show mailed on 8 Dec 1948 and delivered on 15 Dec 1948 in Boxbury. A tough set seen on airmail usage and apparently sent by an Indochine official who was maybe visiting Secretariat Delhi for an official visit. A very fine exhibition showpiece!
