1933 The first Zeppelin mail from Saudi Arabia: Registered cover from Mecca (18.5.33) with 1926, 5 Pia., 1929, 20 G. and 1932, 2 1/2 G., sent by airmail to Germany with transit marks on reverse of Djeddah (19.5), Port Taufiq (22.5), Brindisi (25.5) and Genua (27.5), then by Zeppelin Airship (3.6) to Brazil (arr. 6.6). This was the first Zeppelin flight on which mail from Saudi Arabia was carried, very fine and extremely rare as apparently only 5 covers recorded from Saudi Arabia on this flight, but only three are still known to exist
