1926 via Italian Ship Mail: For a very short period after King Ibn Saud’s victory, until the normal ferry service had been restored, mail from Jeddah to Egypt was carried by Italian mailboat. “SASSARI/PIROSCAFI POSTALE ITALIANO” (25.2) on First Nejd issue 2 Pi. block on cover via Port Taufiq (27.2) to Cairo, attractive and scarce
