Description

1922 Arms Issue: The Maan district (including the cities of Aqaba and Maan) was part of Hejaz until September 1925, when it was joined to Jordan. 1905, Ottoman “MOHAN” (MAAN) on Turkey 1901 1 Pia. and 2 Pia on piece, a rare Cancellation. 1923, unrecorded “MAAN” negative seal cancelling Hejaz 1 Pia. with “Arab Government Overprint” on cover to Damascus with arrival cds on reverse (1.1.24).
