TIRGUJIUL: c1859 (10.4) Registered cover to Craiova, bearing very clear, black, Cyrillic bilinear ds “TIRGUJIUL APR 10”, most of a red wax seal of Tribunalul Districtului Gorj (the Court of Gorj District) on reverse, very fine strike and extremely rare – one of only four such covers recorded (Dragomir type PV53, fig. 254 – highest valuation “FF”; see pg. 76-77), very fine combination of Cyrilic bilinear stamp and the red wax seal of the court, exhibition showpiece
