1907 Group of four postcards relating to Walter Wellman and Melvin Vaniman’s attempt to reach the North Pole by airship, dated July and August, incl. postcard signed by them and dateline Spitzbergen, and three postcards sent to Austria (two of which on picture postcards showing Wellmans Ship and Wellmans Station both sent from Hammerfest, one with Polar Post stamp missing and one damaged)
