CHILE TO USA: 1870 Folded cover to New York franked by GB QV 1867-80 2s blue and 1s green tied by VALPARAISO DE17 70 duplex, carried by PSNC ship to Panama where it received a JA3 71 transit cancel, then by train to Colon before it took the SS “Nile” to St.Thomas, reverse bears ST-THOMAS JA12 71 cds, carried then on SS “South America” to New York where it received N.Y. STEAMSHIP JAN 21 marking, scarce triple rate letter, very fine
