1878 Unfranked double-rate folded entire to Genova, ST.THOMAS 4/4 1878 despatch cds and circled “T” applied before it was sent through the French post with ST.THOMAS 5 AVRIL 78 PAQ.FR.D N°1 shipping cds, taxed upon arrival with 2L80 Italian postage due stamps, (French part of postage was 1F60), Genova arrival bs, wrongly taxed as DWI was already a member of the GPU, a very unusual item, see also article enclosed
