Kalachuris of Ratnapura, Prithvi Deva, c 1079, AV dinar, 3.78 g. (20 mm). Obverse: tiger mounted on elephant (gajasardula), facing right. Reverse: two-line legend.
A very rarely seen coin from the Ratnapur Dynasty that ruled in Central India from the 11th century.
EF, strong details with a wonderful high relief on the reverse legend.
