Post Gupta, Bengal, Samatata region, king of Kumarupa Bhaskaravarman (?), c. 650-700, AV dinar, 5.65 g. (23 mm). Obverse: stylized king without halo, standing, holding arrow in right hand and bow in left hand, an indeterminate symbol appears before king’s face, standard behind, Brahmi Sri Kumara below king’s left arm. Reverse: stylized female figure/Lakshmi standing right, illigible letters to right, bold dotted border around. Kumar 18.8.8. An extremely rare type.
