Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta II, c. 473-476, AV dinar, 9.41 g. (20 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king with long curls wearing tunic with long tails over loin cloth and thin sash tied at waist with looped knot, standing left, holding longbow in left hand, arrow in right, Garuda standard at left, Brahmi ku under left arm with a crescent above. Reverse: Lakshmi seated with legs folded on lotus, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, Brahmi legend to right kramaditya, dotted border around. Raven, KG2/group 1.
VF+, well centred with a high relief, an impressive coin with good detail.
