Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta II, c. 473-476, AV dinar, 9.25 g. (21 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king standing left, wearing tunic over loin cloth with thin sash tied at waist with loop, holding a longbow by the top, Garuda standard at left, Brahmi letter ku along with a crescent under arm. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo sitting in cross-legged posture on a seven-petaled lotus, holding diadem and a lotus flower, whose stem emerges from inside her hand, Brahmi legend to right kramaditya. Raven, KG2/group 1.
