Gupta Empire, Skandagupta, c. 455-467, AV dinar, 9.08 g. (20 mm). Archer.

Special features: king looking to left wearing long-tailed tunic over loin cloth and long, thin sash tied at waist with knot, the rim diadem is well preserved, name under arm skanda. Brahmi legend on reverse kkramadityah. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, class II, variety A. Raven, SkG/group 6.

About EF, struck with high relief and showing well defined details on both sides, traces of lustre show through.
