Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta I, c. 415-455, AV dinar, 7.72 g. (17 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king depicted with large head wearing tunic with long tails over loin cloth, standing left, holding a longbow by the top with strings outwards, Garuda standard at left, Brahmi legend outside bowstring kumara. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo sitting on seven-petaled lotus, holding diadem and left hand raised with lotus flower, Brahmi legend right srimahendrah. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, Class II, variety B1. Raven, KG1/group 2.
