Gupta Empire, Chandragupta II, c. 380-413, AV dinar, 7.57 g. (18 mm). Obverse: ‘chhatra’ type; tall elegant king standing left, wearing loin cloth and long beaded string and sacrificing on a fire, attendant at right holding parasol (chhatra) over the king with right leg raised up, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi, standing left, holding long-stemmed lotus flower in her left hand, and diadem in right, with tamgha to left and Brahmi legend to right, vikkramadityah.
