Kushanas, Huvishka, c. 151-192, AV quarter dinar, 1.88 g. (13 mm). Obverse: diademed and crowned half-length bust to left, holding mace-scepter and left hand on sword, encircled by Bactrian inscription ÞAONANOÞAO O-OHÞKI KOÞANO (king of kings Huvishka Kushan). Reverse: Miro standing facing, head to left with radiate halo, right hand raised in benediction, left holding long hilt of sword, tamgha to left, Bactrian legend MEYRO in right field.
A rare type with Bactrian spelling MEYRO for the solar deity.
About EF, reasonably well struck, good details all around both on the bust and figure on the reverse. Some lustre shows through, struck on slightly rusty dies.
