Kushanas, Huvishka, c. 151-192, AV dinar, 7.59 g. (20 mm). Obverse: Crowned half-length bust left on clouds, halo around head, holding scepter, with Bactrian legend around. Reverse: lunar deity Mao standing left, crescents on shoulders, holding diadem and long scepter. Bactrian legend MAO on right, tamgha to left.
In this very rare type, with Göbl obverse type XII, the lunar deity is seen holding in left hand a long scepter, and not the hilt of his sword as on the common type.
